Chris Ecton

Chris works with One Economy to build digital inclusion programs to ensure the benefits of technology are extended to low-income people.  He works to deliver low-cost, high-speed wireless networks to affordable housing developers and helps them to integrate digital inclusion activities and programs to their clients and residents.

Prior to joining One Economy in 2003, Chris worked as a neighborhood organizer for Yes we can!, a Battle Creek program funded by W.K. Kellogg Foundation. He worked with residents in low-income neighborhoods to build capacity; improve educational achievements and economic self-sufficiency; and organize groups to take action on neighborhood safety and public policy issues.
